Where the wind goes, Rye follows. Quick-footed, sharp-eyed, and born to run.

Introducing Rye the Jackrabbit, the swift and spirited cousin of Juno—bounding into the StoryGarden Critters collection with wild energy and windswept grace. If Juno watches the trail, Rye runs it. His long limbs stretch in full stride, racing the light as it pours over fields of Texas bluebonnets.

Rye began life as a handcrafted figural StoryPiece in our A Bluebonnet Sunset puzzle. That silhouette, inspired by the jackrabbits that blur through the Texas brush, now leaps into the real world—captured in vivid sunset colors and wildflower detail, printed directly onto wood and cut with precision.

Each Rye is UV-printed on durable 1/8” wood and sealed for outdoor use. He’s built to dart between garden beds, chase the breeze across your lawn, or leap straight into a pot of wild basil. Alone or paired with his cousin Juno, Rye brings life and momentum to any garden space.

🌾 Meet Rye
Rye doesn’t dawdle. He’s first to greet the dawn and last to settle at dusk. He’s the figure flashing past the fenceline, the story whispered in hoofprints. His name comes from the waving stalks of grass he disappears into, and like his namesake, he’s wild, golden, and full of life.

Crafted from the same artwork that brings our puzzles to life, Rye the Jackrabbit bridges play and place—bringing the spirit of the open prairie right to your flowerbeds. He’s part of the StoryGarden Critters series—laser-cut silhouettes born from puzzle storytelling and reimagined as outdoor décor.
