The Window Trail - Big Bend National Park Jigsaw Puzzle
Big Bend National Park, Texas
You arrive late in the day to Big Bend National Park - which could also be called the middle of nowhere. Your campsite is set up and you have only a couple of hours before a beautiful sunset over the Chihuahuan desert.
You could watch the sunset through the always-popular Window. Or, you could embark on a relatively short 2.5-mile day hike (5.6 mile round trip) through Oak Creek Canyon. Then down The Window Trail. Ending up at The Window Pouroff.
If your luck holds, you will have this amazing view all to yourself to enjoy the sun setting over the desert, turning the sky into beautiful, soft pastel colors.
